Rafael Leão

Rafael Leão, whose full name is Rafael Alexandre Conceição Leão, is a Portuguese footballer born on June 10, 1999, in Almada, Portugal. After coming through the youth academy of Sporting CP, he joined LOSC Lille in 2018 before signing with AC Milan the following year. Since arriving in Milan, Leão has established himself as one of Europe's most exciting wingers. He played a key role in AC Milan's 2021–22 Serie A title-winning campaign and was named Serie A Most Valuable Player that season. Known for his pace, dribbling, and creativity, he has become one of the club's standout performers. A regular for the Portuguese national team, Leão represented Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2024, and helped his country win the 2025 UEFA Nations League. He remains one of the leading figures of both AC Milan and the Portugal national team.
