He played three seasons at Tompkins High School, where he recorded 53 total touchdowns and threw for 3,825 passing yards, establishing himself as one of the top dual-threat prospects in his class. In 2021, he joined the University of Alabama and the Alabama Crimson Tide, competing in NCAA Division I FBS.
