Reilly Opelka

Reilly Opelka is an American professional tennis player born on August 28, 1997, in St. Joseph, Michigan. He gained international recognition in 2015 by winning the boys’ singles title at Wimbledon Championships. In 2016, he captured his first ATP Challenger title in Charlottesville, marking the beginning of his professional breakthrough. Opelka won his first ATP Tour title in 2019 in New York, followed by a second title at Delray Beach in 2020. Standing at 2.11 meters (6’11”), he is one of the tallest players in ATP history and is widely known for his powerful serve. In 2022, he reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 17. After nearly two years sidelined due to injury, Opelka returned to competition in 2024 and reached the semifinals at the Hall of Fame Open, signaling a strong comeback on the ATP Tour.
